RISM POTENTIAL AND RECREATIONAL USE OF PROTECTED AREAS FOUND IN
THE PROVINCE GUMUSHANE
ABSTRACT
Protected areas are areas land or sea managed through legal and other effective means to ensure of continuity conservation of
natural and cultural resources associated with natural, biodiversity. Protected areas for tourism in our country are divided into
five different classes national parks, nature conservation areas, nature parks, natural monuments and development areas
wildlife.
Tourism potential in Gumushane as a nature conservation area are Spider Forest and Nature Conservation Area; as nature
parks Limni Lake Nature Park, Artabel Lakes Natural Park, Tomara Fall Nature Park, Çağlayandibi Fall Nature Park and
KarĢıyaka Nature Park; payable upon the nature monuments Kirani Evliya Juniper, Poplar of Aliağa, Örümcek Forest Spruce
I, II, III, IV and Örümcek Forest Fir I, II, III, IV; wildlife as the development site is located at Gumushane-Siran Hatching
YHGS.
This study is intended to create awareness in the protected areas in the province Gümüshane, to raise the level of knowledge
of the people in these areas. Specified in this field aim to contribute to increase of the Gumushane tourism potential.
